Scalespeeder Gaming discovered that in the experimental version of update 1.26 we have received a new infected type with a new skin. It looks like it is a Dean Hall!
Dean Hall is an original creator of the DayZ Mod for Arma 2 which was released in 2012. He worked for Bohemia Interactive for short period of time and finally left company in 2014. He was the head of the development team but according to his words, he couldn’t lead the project anymore and missed the home (he was born in New Zealand, about 18 000 kilometers away from Prague in Czechia!). But for the players he remained the “face” of the DayZ project during its Early Access development.
After 10 years of DayZ standalone premiere in EA, he showed up in Prague and took a part in 10th anniversary video from actual developers. So it looks like they took a chance to make a collaboration and put him in the game (he already was there before, many years ago).
