DayZ has a new Community Manager – another person from the fans community was hired and it is Marks! He is mostly known for making videos on Youtube covering all the changes and updates for DayZ and doing a mods showcase.
In the newest video Marks confirms that he was hired at Bohemia Interactive. He talks about the current situation and what we can expect in the future. He is about two weeks in his new role after moving from Ireland to Czechia, so he still needs to adapt to the new place. For sure BI have some plans for him and the game, because it was already hinted that DayZ’s Twitch account will be used more frequently and Marks will be one of the persons responsible for doing more live streams from the game and maybe some other cool events.
Of course Marks will not be able to disclose anything that was not announced yet or is still being worked on, what is understandable and standard practice in the gamedev. He will continue to make videos on his channel, especially gameplay videos and mods showcase and will not resign on posting videos regarding game updates, but they will be probably quite late comparing to other content creators, but on the other hand they will have most accurate information.
