Clothing
Every clothing type has its insulation quality. Depending on it, it gives full or less insulation points. For example face mask (face slot is 5%) with low insulation (40%) will give you only 2 points of insulation (5 * 0.4 = 2). Please note that insulation quality drops with the damage of specific cloth. So clothing that provides best insulation on pristine quality level, at damaged quality will provide only low insulation. That’s not all! You also need to take care of moisture level of your clothing, which reduces insulation even more. However some pieces of clothing have a maximum moisture level, so they can’t get wet, soaked or drenched. Coming back to our example face mask, if it’s get wet it will lose another 50% of remaining insulation so it will provide us 1 insulation point in the end, but it needs to be pristine. If you have damaged mask, calculation would be:
5 points for face slot * ((0.4 low insulation * (1 – 0.2 damaged)) * (1 – 0.5 wet)) = 5 points * 0.16 insulation/damage/wetness = 0.8 value to our Thermal Comfort
